Primary Day in New Hampshire

Today is the first primary in the Presidential contest, notwithstanding the non-election in Iowa. Obama is going into it with a 12 point lead in the polls and the Hillary campaign is declaring that a second place finish would be a "victory." You gotta know she doesn't really believe that. Today was supposed to be her second decisive victory on the way to her inevitable win in November, but it's not exactly working out that way. I saw her interview with Matt Lauer on Today this morning and she seemed exhausted and, dare I say it, resigned. The Hillary energy and confidence was gone. It was an amazing sight to see.

The first votes are actually in. Dixville Notch, NH, which traditionally casts the first votes in America, voted at midnight and here are the results:

Obama: 7 votes
Edwards: 2 votes
Richardson: 1 vote

McCain: 4 votes
Romney: 2 votes
Rudy: 1 vote

10 votes for Democrats, 7 for Republicans, and none for Hillary or Huckabee. Talk among yourselves.
