McCain Lameness Continued...

Yesterday, I posted about McCain's computer illiteracy and his campaign's reassuring message that he's "aware of the internet." Today, Crooks and Liars reminded us that, 2 months ago when McCain was on his "forgotten places" tour, he told folks in Inez, KY that the path out of poverty is selling on Ebay! That's right unemployed miners, just fire up your Mac and sell your valuable excess on Ebay for fun and profit! Never mind that 37% of the population of Inez live below the poverty line and probably don't have lots of recreational access to computers, Senator 8-houses has their back. Oh yeah, did you know that former eBay CEO Meg Whitman is one of McCain's senior advisers? Of course she is.

So John "aware of the internet" McCain is following in the footsteps of George H.W. "Grocery scanner! Golly!" Bush and George "I click around on the Google when I'm on the internets" Bush.

Its true things seem bleak with high unemployment and yes the ebay economy is a silly idea but I am seeing so many high paying jobs on employment sites:

http://www.realmatch.com
http://www.craigslist.com
http://www.simplyhired.com

I dont understand how the stats jive with that? Whose posting all these 125K jobs if there is no demand for labor?

No one is still seriously considering that he can win right?

His running mate would have to literally be Jesus at this point...

Wow, Rich. That is some great research you did there. It even seems to fly in the face of every economist out there.
