Cold Spice has resigned as governor of Alaska effective in 2 weeks. Wow. This is kind of like the death of Anna Nicole in that it's simultaneously shocking and not in the least surprising. Once she got a taste of stardom and shopping sprees at Neimans, there was no way she was going to be satisfied in isolated Alaska.
Obviously cutting out on her first term as governor will cripple her chances to be president. Who would want to vote for someone who cut and ran when the publicity got negative? She's such a bizarre figure, though, that she may think this is a brilliant move towards the White House.
