
If you're in New York, you can check out the exhibit The Figure and Dr. Freud at Haunch of Venison. The exhibit "focuses on the psychological theories developed by Sigmund Freud as a critical lens through which to observe the inner psyches of both artist and subject." It features a nude painting of Bea Authur. I have no idea if she posed for it, but if she did, it's pretty impressive. The painting is by John Curran and it's called, appropriately, Bea Arthur Nude.
