George Takei and his husband Brad Altman made game show history tonight as the first gay couple on the Newlywed Game. They were introduced as "George Takei and Business Manager Brad Altman." I'm not kidding. Business Fucking Manager.
Who did the producers think they were kidding? They kissed after every right answer. They won the game, too. 
At right is a picture of George and his "business manager" sealing an important deal.

Business partner, that's just plain insulting. Disappointing to say the least.
It all goes back to the problem I have with "partner" to describe gay relationships in the first place. How can gay people be "the same" and deserve the same rights if we don't demand on using the same terms as straight people: boyfriend, fiance, husband, but now you've got me started and I'm supposed to be working...
And yes I know, Goldie and Kurt call each other partners but they're rich. They can.
