Back in the day, one of my slightly older mentors proposed a special Academy Award just for being Liz Taylor. We thought it was funny at the time. Now, these unemployable nobodies think they're interesting enough to deserve to be paid -- exorbitantly -- to go about their daily lives as "reality stars." The media pass it off as entertainment, and we're supposed to eat it up. I just don't get it.
