I love these old magazine images of our gal Joan. I have some of the original magazines. Will you be reenlisting again now that Don't Ask Don't Tell has been repealed?
Not only is this old advertisement campy and fun, it is very instructive as well. Next time I am pondering what to take as a hostess gift, I will simply do what Joan is taking here: A carton of Lucky Strikes! Perfect gift! [By the way, I assume that Joan is knocking here on Miss Bette Davis' door. They were such dear friends, you will recall.]
