Monday's Man: Norm Lewis

Lazy Circles New York Bureau Chief Doug alerted me to a Playbill-sponsored cruise of the Mediterranean featuring Broadway stars Audra McDonald, Christine Ebersole and...

King Triton himself, Norm Lewis.  Naturally, I told Doug to book it using the Lazy Circles black corporate AmEx.  Doug did so, but booked himself into the Empress suite!  With Norm as his roommate!  Naturally, I'm going to cancel Doug's card privileges.

However, I might reconsider if Norm would agree to reprise his Broadway Bares number on the ship.  You just know if he let go of the hat and it would stay in place.

You can take my name off the Lazy Circle's black AmEx card. And you can kick my ass out of the Empress Suite. But you cannot...CANNOT, I exclaim passionately!...remove me from Norm's life! Indeed, when My Norm read this blog post, he invited me to be his guest on the cruise. And, being a Good Buddhist, I dare not repeat what he had to say about my "boss."

By the way, Norm's body...who knew?! Miss Lee actually met Norm backstage at "Sondheim on Sondheim."

Doug, you are so right, who knew about the body? I saw him in Sondheim and he was handsome and talented and swoon-worthy, but I had no idea what lurked beneath the loose-fitting clothes. As for Miss Lee, is there anyone she hasn't met?
