There She Is



This is our new Miss Texas, crowned Saturday night in Fort Worth.  Isn't she pretty?  Her name is Kendall Morris and she was Miss Frisco, although her hometown is actually Ennis.  She is a twenty year-old broadcast journalism major at Texas Christian University and she played the piano for her talent.  Her platform was Leukemia: Living for a Cure.  Isn't that nice?  What a fine young lady.  Will we have a winner at Miss America?  It's been a long time since Shirley Cothran.

We're on the same page here Sam. You know I love beauty pageants. I'll have to drag out my old scrap books from the Fifties and share them on my blog. Talk about a trip down Memory Lane!

A pretty girl indeed. Classical piano while wearing white chiffon strapless. And a Christian too. Next Miss America...?
