Is Bachmann Campaign Falling Apart?

Michele Bachmann's poll numbers have been sinking like a stone since Rick Perry entered the race.   Her high-profile campaign manager, Ed Rollins, took the Labor Day holiday weekend to announce that he is "stepping back" to an "advisory role" in the campaign.  He cited his health and age.  Shortly after, his deputy, David Polyansky, announced that he was also leaving Bachmann 2012.  An unnamed source said that Polyansky had "strategic differences on the path forward."  Like maybe Rollins and Polyansky thought they were dealing with a sane, reality-based candidate?  A Bachmann campaign spokesman said that they had always planned on restructuring, which reminds me of Pee Wee Herman falling off his bike and saying "I meant to do that."
