I hope he returns safely, and does his mission well. I have to admit I seriously did not hear those boos. Had I heard them, I certainly would have commented on them."
Santorum admits that a gay soldier is "doing an excellent job," yet he still wants to reinstate DA/DT. He thinks the military should kick out excellent soldiers. Does he even listen to himself?
Earlier in the day, the only two GOP candidates who supported DA/DT repeal, Jon Huntsman and Gary Johnson, also spoke out about the shameful way the Republican field treated that soldier. Huntsman and Johnson are the only two candidates who don't want to throw gays off a cliff. Of course, they're at the bottom of the pack and are called "moderates" by the press. Still no word of thanks from Perry, Bachmann, or any of the rest for this American soldier who is serving his country in a war zone.

I watched the video of the debate last night and am convinced that Santorum DID hear the boos. It continues to amaze me at how the majority of the current crop of GOP candidates pander to such a narrow section of America.
It appears the majority of Americans could care less about gays and lesbians serving openly in the military. I just wish the "silent majority" of Americans would speak up and demand that candidates focus on the economy and not social policies.
If his hearing is that bad or selective is he fit to serve as President? I demand to see the audiologists report!
