I've always thought Thomas Jane was perfectly cast as a call man in Hung, but I had no idea how right I was. In Sunday's LA Times, Jane revealed that, when he was an eighteen year old newcomer to Hollywood, he "wasn't averse to going down to Santa Monica Boulevard and letting a guy buy me a sandwich." In other words, he turned tricks for guys. He went on to say the was exploring his sexual identity and "chose" to be hetero "because that's what my DNA dictates and my nurture dictates that I am."
I'm not sure I buy his choice to be straight when it was in his DNA, but he gets big props in my mind for not living in shame for his past.

And sometimes a sandwich is just a sandwich. ;-)
Hell, how about a fancy dinner and theater tickets too.
I first saw him and his behind in the film "Deep Blue Sea" I think, I just remember the wet suit from "behind."
I guess I let a few ladies buy me sandwiches too, when I was younger, so I believe him.
I just wish he had left out the nurture part of the statement....born that way kind of thing you know.
Funny post.
