--Iowa House Speaker Kraig Paulsen, a Republican, explaining why the House will not deal with marriage equality or abortion in the next legislative session which begins in January. The Democrats have retained control of the Senate and Majority Leader Mike Gronstal has indicicated that he will continue to block GOP attempts to take rights away from Iowa's gay citizens.
