Mitt Romney outspent Newt in Florida by a wide margin and the results reflected it:
Mitt Romney—46.4%
Newt Gingrich—31.9%
Rick Santorum—13.4%
Ron Paul—7%
Other—1.3%
Now, it's over in Florida for a while and my sister in Tampa can enjoy a reprieve from the bile until the general election heats up.
There was some overlooked good news for Democrats last night in Oregon. In a special election to fill the House seat vacated by scandal-plagued Democrat David Wu, Democrat Suzanne Bonamici won decisively. The Tea Party had targeted this race as an opportunity to pick up a seat based on their exaggerated belief in their own popularity, but the GOP candidate, Rob Cornilles, didn't come close to victory. This is a Democratic-leaning district so one can't draw too many conclusions, but it nice to know that there is a sad little Tea Party going on on Oregon today.

Good news on the Oregon election! You're right in that the Tea Party does have an exaggerated opinion of their power and influence. By the way, who is the hottie Romney son? I think his name is Craig. Watching him is the best part about watching Romney's "victory" speeches.
Mittens has to learn that buying an election is difficult. Since he doesn't care about poor people, he can ask his friends Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman about their experiences.
