Nora Ephron Dead at 71
has died after a long battle with leukemia. She was a best selling author, Academy Award nominated screenwriter, director, and playwright whose hits included When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, and Julie and Julia. Her most recent play, Lucky Guy, is expected to open on Broadway in 2013 with Tom Hanks as the star. She and her sister Delia co-wrote the hit play Love, Loss, and What I Wore. This only scratches the surface of her prolific career. She is survived by Delia as well as her husband of 25 years, Nicholas Pileggi.
