The Debates are Ovah!

I thought last night's debate was another clear win for President Obama.  He demonstrated a great depth of knowledge and insight while Romney constantly and awkwardly tried to pivot away from foreign affairs to the economy.  What "small business" and teachers unions have to do with the middle east I'm sure I don't know.  An aide obviously told Romney that Mali is the new Afghanistan or something because he kept repeating it as if more than a handful of people in the audience could find it on a map.  He was dumb enough to bring up the lie that the President went on an apology tour, giving Obama an opportunity to rebut it to his face.  All in all, Obama was presidential, insightful, and factual and clearly demonstrated that he's the better man to lead our nation's foreign affairs.

However, we saw last week that a big debate win did not translate into a significant bump in the polls for the President.  He may have halted Romney's momentum but the race remains insanely close.  I will be on pins and needles until election day.
