NOM Has Only Two Major Donors

HRC managed to get the so-called National Organization for Marriage to finally release their IRS Form 990 for 2011 by physically going to NOM's office and demanding this public document.  No wonder NOM didn't want anyone to see it.  I reveals that donations are way down and that fully 75% of their funding came from two unnamed (natch) donors.  Donations fell from $9.1 million in 2010 to $6.2 million in 2011.  Two mystery donors gave approximately $2.4 million each.  Then there were these interesting points revealed in the documents:

"NOM paid $870,000 to CC Advertising – a group HRC recently filed an FCC complaint against for spamming unsuspecting cell phone users with anti-gay, anti-Obama text messages. The organization also paid nearly $375,000 to Frank Schubert, their ad guru who makes his living largely off of promoting anti-LGBT propaganda."

Two donors gave almost their entire budget?  NOM isn't a grassroots movement.  It isn't a movement at all.  It's a personal vendetta.
